Comet reigns or rains???

Heard on TV last night that Earthlings would be experiencing Comets hitting the atmosphere or was it stratosphere? How does it matter till it hits me or my family and friends? isn't it?

Hundreds die of flooding in Bihar, Mumbai, California, China but who is bothered? Not most of us. We would rather react when it hits our near and dear ones before that we are patience personified. Why should we be bothered by someone else's problems? isn't it?

The nature is not furious she is tired. Tired of the human abuse. She can't take it anymore. She is not getting time to recuperate beforw being robbed of its resources. We keep on harnessing and milking the nature as if there is no tomorrow. Our ancestors used to sleep at night and give time to nature to recharge itself but we ensure that we work 24/7. So much for materialism.

Learn to give back to nature before she decides to snatch her due. We are always claiming and asking, and in no mood to give back. why have we become so self-centered? why can't we take some rest from our non-stop lives?

Lets put that one minute each day wherein we won't harness nature. With close to 7 billion minutes back to nature she can recharge her batteries.

Think again and decide before SHE decides.

Life Beckons!!!

A new life is knocking on the door of my heart. infact our heart. my wife is expecting a baby. this would be our first baby. I am sooooooooooooo excited. A new chapter in our lives. Even the imagination of those lil hands on my face sends waves of exhilaration across my body. I am seeing him/her grow every day. s/he is speeding up the race towards my lap. this is amazing, how a lil champ would be on my lap. I always liked kids but a kid of my own is a great feeling.

I feel a lot of gratitude towards GOD who has given me this wonderful opportunity. GOD makes HIS presence felt in amazing manner. I have felt him all around me since last year. I can't thank HIM enough.

S/he throws up hands or feet and I can feel it. It seems s/he is swimming in the amniotic fluid of his/her mom. Would I be labeled as gender biased if I say that I wish for a girl child? may be yes. There are so many different kind of people with different mindsets. I would love to have a girl child but I have a feeler it would be a boy child. anyway s/he should be a healthy and an affluent kid. S/he should have all the amenities of the world at his/her disposal. I would not like to see him/her become a cry baby but would love to see him/her have the best of the world.

Its less than 2 months left. the COUNTDOWN has begun. muaaaaaah.

The Secret Movie

Watched the movie "The Secret" today. Came to know what I already knew. The movie talks about the Law of Attraction. It says you attract what you think. But thats obvious isn't it. Whats so secret about it? Everything that we see around was once thought by someone in the mind and then it got materialized. The movie wasn't waste of a time however it lacked much content. Things were repeated to lenghthen the movie.

Abundance, Wealth, Prosperity, Health, Placebo, Wish, Thinking were oft repeated words. What I liked about the movie was the way it was presented. Real Life stories of popular and not so popular people were shown. Its true that its the HIGHER POWER which gives us what we want, but, we do not wish for failure and if we get that then HIGHER POWER is not responsible we are responsible.

Our health and state of mind is always in our control and we can ensure how we feel or project ourselves. Feel happy and your body would react, feel dejected and your body will follow suit. Conversely, push your chest, raise your shoulders, hold your head high and you will start feeling good even at the worst of situations.

Its all psychosomatic i.e. psyche affects the body and vice-versa.

You can change your reality by changing your outlook but not within 30 days as is projected in the movie (it might happen in 3 days, who knows). Just let your imagination and positive thinking go wild and steady at the same time.

Peculiar Relation

Its peculiar how we relate ourselves to ourselves, to our families, to our friends, to our neighborhoods, to our Universe.

For a speck of dust we are humongous, for a star we are smaller than a speck of dust.

Why is our relationships based on domination? Even an imbecile wants to dominate. We dominate our parents, our spouses, our friends, our colleagues, our kids, our siblings, our surroundings, our thoughts, our pain, our pleasure, our existense.

I wish we rebooted our hearts and minds to make the Universe a better place to live in before Universe reboots itself!!!
